It's five years since Robbie Keane played his last Ireland match. In his absence, centreback Shane Duffy has emerged as Ireland's most reliable goalscoring threat.
Sadly, there is only one Robbie Keane. Ireland's all-time leading scorer called into the Soccer AM studios this morning and proved that he's still got it. In the presence of Jimmy Bullard, Keano achieved a perfect score in the Pro Am round. Despite wearing jeans and runner, Keane proved he's still ruthless in front of goal.
The one-on-one shot he places perfectly between the goalkeeper's legs here around .35 seconds tells us that Keano could still do a job for Ireland. He even slots home a free kick.

Robbie is a regular on Soccer AM. Whether he's talking about a text message prank on Martin Jol or chatting with Tubes about Shay Given, Robbie tends to bring entertainment to Sky's Saturday morning football programming.
Robbie Keane told the PA this week he expects to see Cristiano Ronaldo drive on the youngsters at Manchester United.
“The younger players around him, you’ll see them grow now even more just because they’re around his presence.
“You know he won’t accept that the lads are doing it the wrong way. For example if I’m Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, I would be watching Ronaldo every day.
“How does he train? How does he prepare himself? Because it’s like an education for them, for someone who’s been the best player in the world for however many years.
