It's 18 years to the day that Robbie Keane made his first appearance in an Ireland jersey on these shores - a mere month after his debut in the Czech Republic in March 1998.

Argentina were the visitors for Keane's home debut, and RTE got the chance to interview the future record caps holder - and it's pure gold.

17-year-old Robbie uses all of the cliches in the book - that it's his dream come true to playing with Niall Quinn, "brilliant", it was brilliant to be playing for Ireland, it's brilliant to get such a great reception from the crowd.

Shout out to Mick for setting the bar high for Robbie. I think he probably made those expectations with the next 141 caps.
