There's something slightly sad about watching Robbie Keane tearing it up in Los Angeles, all the while aware that -for the first time in 18-odd years - we won't be seeing him soon in the green of Ireland.
Nonetheless, Keane's mastery of MLS and the adoration he receives from US soccer fans has always made us feel warm and fuzzy inside, and the 36-year-old former Ireland captain was back to his old tricks last night.
Although when we say 'old tricks', he didn't get too many of these throughout his career.

That header was Keane's ninth league goal of the season, but Galaxy would eventually fall 4-2 to the Seattle Sounders at the StubHub Center. Keane added a penalty with the scores at 4-1, meaning that's five straight seasons in LA in which Keane has notched double digits.
Keane also has 11 goals versus the Sounders in his career.
