The MLS Player's Union has released an updated list of player salaries and Robbie Keane has dropped down from number four to number six in the list of highest earners.

Former Brazilian international Kaka tops the list, despite not currently playing in the league. He's on loan with Sao Paulo as Orlando City do not enter the MLS until next season. A slight bump in earnings means that Landon Donovan is the other player to jump above the Dubliner.

These are the top 15 earners in the league.

2. Clint Dempsey, Seattle Sounders: $6.7 million

3. Michael Bradley, Toronto FC: $6.5 million

4. Jermain Defoe, Toronto FC: $6.18 million
