The Republic of Ireland's most capped player and record goalscorer Robbie Keane continues to add to his trophy collection. A year after picking up the award for the best player in the MLS in 2014, Keane was recognised at the ESPY's last night.
The award (short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly award) given to Keane was the for the best player in the MLS, despite not being included in the upcoming MLS All Star team with Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard getting nods before they made their debuts for their new clubs.
Keane posted this video on his facebook on accepting the award:
It's an absolute honor to be the 1st Irish athlete to win an ESPY award for best MLS player. Thanks to all who voted.
