So Joey Barton either made an honest mistake or tried to be a bit smart by claiming that today was the one day a year when the football industry gets 'schizophrenia' due to transfer deadline day.
Straight away people were on to him about the fact that there is also a January transfer window – including Robbie Fowler.
Barton then tried to outsmart him by pointing out that there is only one transfer window per season per calender year.

But surely if he's referring to it on a season by season basis then that season's January transfer window would be included and therefore still mean there are TWO days?
So many simpletons about. Jan transfer window THIS year, was for last season. Relatively simple concept.
