Robbie Brady's future has been one of the most talked-about topics of the January transfer window, with the general consensus among Norwich fans being that the sooner Brady leaves Carrow Road, the better.

Several clubs are believed to have been sniffing around Brady - such as Crystal Palace and Aston Villa - and most Irish fans would hope the Dubliner would choose a move to a Premier League club in order to play at a level truly befitting of his talents.

And, according to reports in the Daily Mail and local publication The ChronicleSunderland are trying to make that happen having made an offer for Brady.

The Chronicle is reporting that the figure on the table from Sunderland is unknown - but the Mail is claiming that the fee is in the region of the £10 million offered by Crystal Palace for the winger.

A move to Sunderland would be good in the short-term for Brady - but he will be well aware that the Black Cats are looking in serious danger of relegation. David Moyes' side currently lie 19th in the league on fifteen points. Ironically one of the teams they will be scrapping it out with in the coming months is Palace - as well as Hull City, where Brady spent two seasons on loan from Manchester United before signing for them and staying for a further two campaigns.
