Norwich's persistence in their pursuit of Robbie Brady looks like it is going to pay off.
The newly promoted Premier League side have had several bids for the versatile Irish player rebuffed by Hull but it seems they have finally made a breakthrough with a £7 million offer.
According to the Mirror, Brady rejected a new deal to remain with his current club, instead favouring Premier League football.
Steve Bruce said that he is 'resigned to losing' the player.
I have done everything I can to try and persuade Robbie to stay here and help us get back into the Premier League at the first attempt.
But he’s had two seasons in the top flight with us and that’s where he wants to carry on playing again next season, it’s as simple as that.
That’s the bottom line for Robbie and I just have to face up to the fact that, even though I don’t want him to go, I’m resigned to losing him.
Brady would join fellow Ireland international teammate James McClean in escaping a relegated side to play in English football's top tier.
McClean joined West Brom last month on a three-year deal after being relegated from the Championship with Wigan.
