Rio Ferdinand has given his two cents on the situation at Manchester United since Ferguson left. The QPR defender revealed his thoughts on David Moyes, Louis Van Gaal during a candid interview with CNN as part of the promotion campaign for his unfortunately titled booked #2Sides.
Ferdinand admitted that he hasn't spoken to Moyes since he was sacked from Old Trafford but claims he holds no ill-feelings towards the Scot.
I've got nothing against him as a person. As I was saying, he's a gentleman, a great man. I've never had any bad words to say about him at all, in that respect, as a person.
The former English international did imply that it was Moyes' was to blame for Man Utd's poor league run before getting the boot.
He (Alex Ferguson) goes, and it all falls apart so that's his fault. How can people say that. It's just about the new managers coming in and making that work together still.
So I don't think the box stops with Sir Alex Ferguson. So, I think you leave and you win a trophy, there's not many better ways to go out than that.
So apparently, great men can still be shit managers.
