Ah Richard Keys, he really knows how to put his foot in it.
The former Sky Sports presenter is in a bit of trouble with Newcastle after he tweeted earlier this month that Hatem Ben Arfa had "chinned" Alan Pardew. The tweet which was posted during Newcastle's 3-0 win over Cardiff on May 3rd has since been deleted.
It read:
Heard Ben Arfa chinned Pardew. If that’s the case one or the other will have to go.
According to The Daily Mail, Newcastle deny that the incident happened and are threatening to sue the 57-year-old unless he apologises on Twitter for the tweet.
Keys tweeted this in the early hours of this morning. Pretty sure it doesn't count as an apology.
Just to be clear I never claimed that Ben Arfa chinned Pardew. Just repeated what I had heard.
