QPR have only conceded 33 goals in the Championship this season. That's the joint least along with Burnley.
Richard Dunne has been rewarded for his part in this miserliness with a one-year contract extension at the London club. QPR are currently in third place in the Championship, nine points behind second placed Burnley.
Dunne told QPR.co.uk:
I am delighted. After missing a year through injury, to come back and play so many games is great.
There is naturally always that worry that the injury may go again, so to play as regularly as I have has been brilliant. If we can kick on now and finish on a high, that would be the ultimate end to the season.
The centre-back missed the entire 2012/13 through injury but has managed to play 37 games in QPR's promotion push this season.
Performances like this one against Ipswich are undoubtedly the type that have won him the contract extension.
