In the semi-final yesterday, AC Milan spanked their French opponents but the black players on the team were repeatedly booed and heckled throughout the match.

The team's management complained bitterly to the organisers about the treatment meted out to their players. It's not clear at this point which team the abusive parents were supporting.

AC Milan confirmed the allegations on their website.

We can confirm the alleged episodes of racism towards the black children by several 'people' in the stands during Milan v PSG yesterday.

We do not want to amplify or exaggerate anything, but we very much hope that this is not true and that it was just something isolated. If that isn't the case then it would be absolutely unacceptable.
