There are unconfirmed reports emerging from Parkhead regarding the possible serious injury of a Scotland fan after he fell from the upper tier during tonight's match between Scotland and Ireland.

We must stress that this is not confirmed at the moment, with the police control room at the match saying they are not discussing anything, when we got in contact.

It has since been confirmed that Nathan McSeveney, a Scottish fan from Cumnock in Ayrshire has died following the fall at Celtic Park. The 22 year old is thought to have fallen three floors down a stairwell following the full time whistle. He was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, however, Police Scotland today confirmed that he had sadly passed away. A spokesperson for the force said that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Relatives have been informed and the Health and Safety Executive have been made aware. There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal.
Celtic released the following statement on their website:
EVERYONE at Celtic Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the death of a young supporter following last night’s match between Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.
This was a terrible, tragic incident and our sincere thoughts and prayers are with the young man's family at this time.
