If even half of this summer's transfer rumours are true, then Roma will have no players left come the end of the summer. You already have Eden Dzeko strongly linked with Zenit, Radja Nainggolan with Chelsea, and Wojciech Szczesny linked with Juventus. Today it appears Liverpool have pushed through their bid for another one of their standout players.
According to beIN Sports, Mohammad Salah is returning to the Premier League in a deal worth around €40m. Reporter Mohamed Alkawaleny tweeted the news saying that "Things are completely finished and contractual terms agreed upon pending the official announcement from Liverpool."
Salah has been on Liverpool's watch list for a long time with Salah admitting that they had tried to sign him in 2013 while with Basel, but the offer was rejected and he went to Chelsea instead.
Speaking last year about the 2013 negotiations Salah said:
Negotiations took a long time, because Basel rejected more than one offer. They felt the transfer fee was not that high. I was waiting for Liverpool because I really like Liverpool. I was eager to join them.
With news of the latest attempt at a signature being successful, a lot of Liverpool fans are getting excited about the potential new midfield dynamic.

That said other people have been looking a little bit further ahead:

There is a certain element of concern as the forward's time in Chelsea proved unremarkable; Salah racked up only 13 games with the Blues, whilst there's also the matter of a rather hefty price tag to boot.
At 24 years of age Liverpool could be looking at a very good long-term investment here: 15 goals and 11 assists from an attacking midfield position in Serie A indicates Salah has found his feet in and around the top level.
