Manchester United are set to let a number of first team players leave the club this Summer as manager Louis Van Gaal prepares to dip into the transfer market and mould a team to play the in the manner he desires.
Amongst the names rumoured to be on the way out are Rafael, Johnny Evans, Anders Lindegaard, and striker Robin Van Persie.
RVP was tipped to return to his best form following the arrival of Louis Van Gaal, and while he did score some important goals over the course of the season, injuries and an alarming dip in form saw him pushed out of the starting side towards the end of the season. It is now believed that Van Persie could leave the club this summer, and reports in Italy are claiming he is on his way to Rome.

It's certainly worth taking with a pinch of salt, but if Lazio were to secure their return to the Champions League via the qualifiers (where they could face Manchester United funnily enough), then a play of RVP's class and experience could be a seriously positive addition.
Van Persie has been linked to Juventus and Inter Milan before, so a move to a side like Lazio who haven't competed for a league title in a very long time would be seen as a surprise, but with the Dutchman's contract with United set to expire next Summer, you never know.
