Preston North End have completed the loan signing of Troy Parrott ahead of the 2022/23 season. After spending last season on loan with MK Dons in League One where he helped them to a spot in the playoffs, scoring 10 goals along the way, Parrott will now join up with fellow Irishmen Alan Browne, Robbie Brady and Sean Maguire at Deepdale.
Since returning to Spurs, Parrott seemed to impress Antonio Conte as he finished first in their draining fitness drill on tour in South Korea.
When Son went down, the whole crowd went silent. Kane went over and helped him back up before he rejoined the next run to cheers. Now Kane, Son, Tanganga, Bissouma have all dropped out of the last set of runs. Troy Parrott probably the fittest and was leading the final run.

Conte sees the Irish international as a number nine rather than the deeper role he primarily played with MK Dons last season and it's reported that Spurs were keen to only allow Troy Parrott to leave on loan under the agreement of him playing in a more advanced position.
Parrott wasn't involved in Spurs' last pre-season outing against Rangers at Ibrox due to the deal with Preston being finalised.
Football London reported earlier that the former Belvedere man is also poised to sign a new long term contract at the London Stadium, showing Conte's plans for Troy Parrott in the future.
The move would sign be confirmed by Preston.

Troy Parrott on Antonio Conte
Speaking during the pre season tour in Asia, Parrott praised his manager and spoke about the advice and guidance he has already been given since joining up with his parent club.
"During training he came in and helped me with some little stuff. Just telling me what he wants from the attacking players and that's all I can ask for really,
"Our position is important for the press. It's a different energy and then in possession just being an option and being available for players when they've got the ball. Making sure I'm there to receive the ball."
Troy Parrott has been a player that has excited Irish football fans for the last couple of years since his underage days with Stephen Kenny and after impressive showings for the senior side in recent times, guaranteed first team football at an established Championship side will undoubtedly help Parrott reached the potential that he has shown he has.
Impending medical
Preston finished 13th last season in the Championship with only 52 goals in 46 games. Parrott will be linking up with Dane Emil Riis Jakobson, who scored 16 goals last season. Cameron Archer left Preston for Aston Villa, so Parrott will certainly get his fair share of scoring opportunities.
Their season begins away to Wigan on Saturday.
