BBC Radio Yorkshire have today revealed that a bid has been accepted by Leeds United for their rising star Sam Byram, according to their sources.
Adam Pope, a sports broadcaster for the BBC is who first broke the news when he told his twitter followers that Everton had agreed a fee, which he believes to be around £4m, for Byram, who has been a standout performer for the Championship side this season.
I understand that an offer has been accepted by #Lufc from #EFC for Sam Byram although the deal is not yet finalised.

That is very interesting indeed.
Byram has been tipped for the top by many in recent times, and has been linked to both Manchester United and Liverpool, but it now appears that Roberto Martinez wants to take him to Goodison Park.
Although he can play anywhere on the right hand side, his best position is believed to be full-back, and while Everton are light at the position with Tyias Browning out for the season and Tony Hibbert being 54 years old, Byram would likely not leave for a club where he is second choice, so what does this mean for Seamus Coleman?
The Killybegs native seems to be linked with many clubs, such as Manchester United and even Bayern Munich, in every transfer window, so this could be the signing that means Everton are finally willing to discuss his sale, although that is pure speculation at this point.
While the £4m fee does seem surprisingly low for a player of Byram's potential, he is out of contract in the summer and won't be renewing, so Leeds may decide to cash in now rather than leave on a free.
We'll bring you more on this as we get it. Martinez is normally good for directly addressing transfer stories so perhaps he will comment soon and clear things up.
