Major changes are on the horizon for Barcelona after the 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich earlier this week. The club has been on a steady decline for the last five years, with this result the final straw.

The first casualty will be manager Quique Setién, with Thierry Henry reportedly amongst the names in the frame to replace him.

There will be some changes to the playing staff as well. Barcelona's track record in the transfer market in recent times does not install much confidence that any new signings will hit the ground running, while a number of players are likely to leave the club.

Offloading them won't be easy, with many now reaching the latter stages of their latter stages of their careers. The fact that they are on massive wages also won't help. Despite this, hardly anybody in the squad is safe.

According to Mundo Deportivo, only five players in the squad are assured of a future at the club. Those players are Lionel Messi, Frenkie de Jong, Marc-André ter Stegen, Ansu Fati, and Riqui Puig, with Barcelona open to offers for every other member of the squad.

That includes Luis Suarez, with the 33-year old struggling with injuries in recent years. The club also seem ready to move on from Ousmane Dembele, who has been a huge flop since his big money move from Borussia Dortmund.

The report also suggests that Barcelona would be open to selling Antoine Griezmann only one year after signing the Frenchman from Atletico Madrid, although it would take a sizeable offer in order for them to consider letting him go.

In terms of incomings, the club are determined to sign yet another big money forward in the form of Inter's Lautaro Martinez. You'd imagine a couple of defenders should also be considered.
