Pundits Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson, and Charlie Nicholas have been let go by Sky Sports and will not be involved in their flagship show Soccer Saturday for the 2020/21 season.
The Sun have reported that the move was made as part of widespread cost-cutting measures across the broadcaster due to the financial crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The three long-serving football experts were let go with Le Tissier confirming the news via Twitter.
In a statement, the Southampton legend said: "Enjoyed my time at Sky Sports, time to look forward to life’s next challenge, thank you for the support down the years and special thanks to the backroom team."
Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling added: "One of my saddest days ever at Sky Sports with the departure of three of my best mates. They have been part of a team that for me was the best."

Collectively, the three men spent almost 50 years at Sky and were stalwarts on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show.
It remains to be seen who is brought in to replace them.
Over the years, the show has frequently changed its lineup with panellists including Frank McLintock, Alan Brazil, Clive Allen and Gordon McQueen all featuring.
It's understood that Paul Merson will still be a regular contributor, alongside the likes of Tony Cottee, Iain Dowie, Chris Kamara, and more.
Sky’s coverage of the new Premier League season begins this weekend in the form of the Community Shield between Liverpool and Arsenal.
Sky have released the following statement: "We are changing some parts of our football coverage – Matt, Charlie and Phil have done a great job for us over the years, and they will leave us with our sincere thanks and very best wishes.”
