A piece by Phil Hay in the Yorkshire Evening Post today details the extraordinary and quite disturbing events occuring at Leeds United on a daily basis. Among the debris is a nugget that is barely believable yet the author argues that we cannot be sure they weren't serious. Leeds had a deal in place to sign then Brighton striker Ashley Barnes but the deal was scuppered. One of the reasons being that the owners consulted his Football Manager stats.

Scary. Barnes went to Burnley who are gunning for promotion with him. Maybe they checked his FIFA rating instead.
