Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne could be set for a spell on the sidelines according to Manchester based news outlet City Watch.
The Belgian has reportedly suffered a serious injury in training today, with City Watch tweeting out that the 27-year-old's injury is similar to the one he suffered against Everton in 2016, when he hurt his knee in a clash with Ramiro Funes Mori:
City Watch understands Kevin De Bruyne sustained a serious injury in training today.
The full extent is unknown but it has been described to us as similar to the one he picked up against Everton in 2016.

Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has also tweeted confirming the setback as a knee injury:

De Bruyne featured as a substitute for Man City in his team's 2-0 over Arsenal at the weekend, and the loss of the midfielder would be a huge blow to Pep Guardiola's team as they seek to secure back to back Premier League titles.
