Reports have emerged that Brazil are interested in hiring Jose Mourinho as their new manager.

Following their quarter-final exit at the World Cup to Croatia, Brazil are currently without a manager after the resignation of Tite.

Despite having one of the most talented squads in the tournament, it ended in disappointment as they have now gone more than 20 years since their last World Cup.

While their search for a new manager is ongoing, they are interested in one of the biggest names in world football, with Jose Mourinho their top target.

Italian media outlet La Repubblica have reported that Brazil have began talks with Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes, as they attempt to find the manager to bring them back to their glory days.

Jose Mourinho has never managed a national side before, and has been linked with the portugal job. The Special One is currently in charge of Roma, who are currently seventh in the table, three points off the Champions League places.

However, despite winning the Europa Conference league last season,Jose Mourinho is reportedly unhappy at the Italian side, and is open to a new role.

This wouldn't be the first time that Jose Mourinho has been linked with the role as Brazil manager. In 2017 when he was in charge of Manchester United, he had flirted with the idea of the Brazil job.

I need an easier job than Manchester United, and coaching the Brazilian team should be more difficult. Obviously, it would be exciting, any coach wants to work with the best clubs and with the best."

While he may be known for his defensive style of football, Jose Mourinho in charge of Brazil would be far from boring. However, the dancing that we seen in Qatar may not be tolerated as much by the former Chelsea manager.
