Sunderland have signed Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old had been recalled from his loan at Hearts by his parent club, but will now go out on loan again with the League 1 club.

The central defender had been a part of Ireland's extended squad for their recent Nations League clash with Denmark and has spoken of his excitement of linking up with the Mackems for the rest of the season:
I’m very excited to be here [at Sunderland]. I’m looking to step up and keep developing my game, so this is a good place for me to do that.
The lads here have been on a good run and I’ve been lucky to be in a team where we’ve been winning as well, so long may both continue.
I didn’t have anything to think about, there were 46,000 people here on Boxing Day and that just grabs you. It’s a massive club and it was a no-brainer for me.
Sunderland currently sit third in the table with 51 points after 25 games, though Jack Ross's side do have a game in hand over the two teams above them.
