Bournemouth's resolve to retain the services of Harry Arter could be tested during the January transfer window.
The Sun report that the Ireland international will be the subject of a £15 million bid from West Ham.
Arter just signed a new four-year contract with Bournemouth during the summer, tieing him to Dean Court until 2021. That came only a year after the 27-year-old inked a fresh three-year deal with the club.
Arter has climbed the English football ladder with Bournemouth having joined them in 2010 from Woking for just £5,000.
West Ham manager David Moyes is said to be an admirer of the midfielder's combative style, one which could aid the London club in this season's battle against relegation.
Whether or not Bournemouth would be willing to sell to another struggling club is a real question.
This season, Arter has started ten games for Bournemouth. Usually an unquestioned starter, he has been left on the bench for games against Chelsea, Spurs and most recently Crystal Palace.
