Report: Officials From Major English Club Caught Snorting Cocaine In Opposition Boardroom

According to The Observer, police are investigating drug use at a major English club after concerns were raised by members of staff.

The paper say that two officials from the club were caught snorting cocaine in the boardroom of an opposition team and that white powder was noticed on the clothing of a member of staff when he took his seat at a home game. It is also stated that one person involved has "a considerable reputation within the sport".

A prominent Observer source stated that internal inquiries were started following allegations of class-A drug use within the team's stadium.

He also said:

The police have been informed, as have the relevant league, so it is now a matter for the police to find out if there is a case to answer.

The team and those involved have not been named for legal reasons.
