Whatever this lad's agent is earning, it isn't enough.
There were no shortage of raised eyebrows when Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting moved to PSG a couple of years ago. The striker had just come off the back of a thoroughly unimpressive season at Stoke City, one which saw him score five goals in 30 Premier League appearances as the club were relegated.
His move to the French capital actually did make some sense. PSG were under pressure to meet FFP rules, meaning they could not spend on a striker. The free transfer of Choupo-Moting, who had previously played under Thomas Tuchel at Mainz, filled a gap in their squad.
The Cameroon international has scored only six league goals in his two seasons at the Parc des Princes, but he played a major role in the Champions League campaign this year. He would be the one to score the winning goal in the semi-final victory over Atalanta, but would fail to have the same impact in the final after coming off the bench late on.
Now a free-agent after his contract at PSG expired, it looks as though the player is on the verge of a move to another huge European club.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira is reporting that Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is set to sign for Bayern Munich on a free transfer, the club who beat PSG in that Champions League final.

The Bundesliga club are in need of a backup for Robert Lewandowski, with German-born Choupo-Moting seen as a cheap option. What a move it would be for the player.
PSG look likely to fill the backup striker role in their squad via a loan move for Everton Moise Kean, with the Italian striker not really making much of an impact on Merseyside after joining the club in a big money move from Juventus last year.
