Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is ready, in classic transfer parlance, to "raid" his old club Norwich for Ireland international Wes Hoolahan. The Mirror reports today that Villa made a £1.5m bid for the midfield schemer yesterday and that may be enough for Norwich to agree to sell him given he is not a guaranteed starter every week for the Canaries.
Why again, is he not a guaranteed starter for Norwich? If this means more football for Wes, then we are all for it.
