Andy Carroll is reported to have been sent home from West Ham training today after a bust-up with manager David Moyes.
The Telegraph has reported West Ham have launched an investigation into the incident which came after West Ham's 4-1 loss against Manchester City. Towards the end of the game, Andy Carroll left the substitutes bench and walked down the tunnel when he realised West Ham had used all three changes.
After the game Moyes claimed he would deal with it.
In this situation what you need is everybody to be a team member so if he has done that, I’ll look at it and I’ll deal with it.
Moyes and Carroll are reported to have clashed at training today. It is the second incident between the pair, with Moyes publicly criticising Carroll in November after he was taken off during a 2-0 loss against Watford. Carroll has seen first-team opportunities hard to come by with the resurgence of Marko Arnautović.
It comes at a difficult time for the club, who are just three points above relegation with three games left.
