PSG are not short of a few pound, we all know that. The Parisian club have spent vast sums of money on players over the past few seasons, including record breaking deals for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
While PSG certainly have the money to spend, they may not be allowed to spend it. The club is living dangerously when it comes to UEFA's financial fair play regulations, which attempt to curb rampant spending by the continent's wealthiest clubs.
This has had an impact of the French club's ability to make new signings this month, as they attempt to avoid any sanctions. Manager Thomas Tuchel is keen to add midfield reinforcements, and has identified Napoli's Allan as their primary target.
While they cannot afford to pay the fee that Napoli want, they have apparently found a way to bypass the problem. La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football Italia) are reporting that the PSG owners will offer Napoli a Qatar Airways sponsorship deal worth around €50million as part of the transfer. On top of this, they will also pay a transfer fee of €20million.
PSG could offer Napoli a multi-year sponsorship, possibly from Qatar Airways, in an attempt to lower the asking price for Allan. (@CorSport)

The legalities behind such a move certainly seem questionable, although Qatar Airways do sponsor a number of European clubs. PSG are unable to pay the transfer straight up due to the UEFA restrictions, and this is certainly a very clever way getting around that problem.
The player is keen to make the move, with the French champions offering to treble his current wages. Napoli are also not adverse to selling their best players, as long as the fee is right.
This rumour certainly seems like it has legs, as long as those pesky FFP regulations can be dealt with.
