In light of every favorable bounce and decision that Ireland has gotten since touching down in Moscow back in early September - and there have been quite a few - it's worth noting that luck hasn't not followed Giovanni Trapattoni throughout his management career. So if karma has offered Trapattoni a bit of consolation late in life, we should remember luck is not the entitled condition of our manager, nor should we expect any of it Poland or the Ukraine.
