The Only Irish Team Left In European Football This Year Have Been Busy Tonight

League of Ireland referee Alan Kelly has been ascending the UEFA and FIFA ranks for a while now.  He leads an Irish team tonight in charge of the Europa League last 32 tie between BATE Borisov (Belarus) and Fenerbache (Turkey).

I don't think anyone could deny that Kelly was 100% correct in sending off former Chelsea and Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles, after only 4 minutes of the game, after this moment of madness.

Kelly leads an all Irish team with Damien MacGraith and Allen Lynch on the line, Neil Doyle and Padraig Sutton behind the goals and Kenneth Hennessy as the fourth official.
