[tps_header]It's two weeks into the fantasy Premier League season and you've already forgotten to set your lineup twice.
In terms of fantasy sports there is a much better alternative out there.
Fantasy NFL.[/tps_header]
Everyone has completely unique teams
It's Saturday evening, Robin van Persie smashes one in with his left foot. You leap from your seat, knocking that bag of Walker's Sensations everywhere because you've got him as your captain that week.
But then there's a sharp pang of disappointment as you sit back down and realise that it doesn't really matter because everyone else has also has him as their captain.
That doesn't happen in fantasy NFL because everyone has unique teams.
The draft
Think you've got a better knowledge of the game than everyone else? You actually get rewarded for it in fantasy NFL, mainly because of the draft.
Everyone sits around at their laptops for and hour and a half and selects their teams with varying strategies. Some will have quarterback as their priority, others running back and then maybe there's a hidden gem that you think nobody else knows about.
Trades
Need to improve your team? It's not just as simple as playing your wild card like in fantasy Premier League and bringing all the players playing well right now.
You acquire players by trading with other teams. If there's a player doing well for you now but you suspect it's not going to stay that way then sell high to another owner and improve your team long term.
Short season
The Premier League is a damn long season. It's thirty eight games and can be hard to stay interested for the whole season.
The NFL regular season is only seventeen weeks long. It's much easier to stay involved.
