It's always painful to see someone younger than you achieve something great in sport, it's just not too often that those doing it are as young as 16.
Highly touted full Norwegian International Martin Odegaard recently joined Real Madrid from his previous club Stromsgodset for some €3m, the club beating all of Europe's heavy-hitters to his signature.
The Daily Mail report that the price of his signature doesn't stop there however, the teenager is reportedly on some €100,000 per week. Most 16-year-olds in Ireland are today at home delighted that Secondary-School teachers are on strike while Odegaard is playing for the world'd biggest club and pocketing some €100,000 a week, thats €10 a minute. To put it another way, if he were to go for a €50 dinner, he would have come out with a profit of €545 after an hour.
We're not jealous at all.
