Star-gazing Enemy of Ireland Raymond Domenech has found himself from twinkle-eyed Friend of Everyone, Claudio Ranieri. Domenech presided over Thierry Henry's larceny against Ireland, which ultimately proved to be a very poor night for him as the French players went on strike against him at the 2010 World Cup.
Domenech now does TV work and uses Twitter, and has built up a following of nearly 100,000. He tweets mostly about football, but over the last couple of months has found time to muse about West Side Story, Catalan independence, and pollution.
Among his most recent tweets was a baiting of Ranieri's Nantes, for their performance in a 4-1 defeat to PSG. Domenech tweeted after the game "Finalement la stratégie double bus de la Mercédès n’a pas fait mieux que toutes les petites 2CV ????. PSG 4 NANTES 1", which translates as his mocking Ranieri for "parking the bus".
Finalement la stratégie double bus de la Mercédès n’a pas fait mieux que toutes les petites 2CV 😂😂😂😂. PSG 4 NANTES 1 .

Beautifully, the official Nantes account replied with " not sure you are in the best position to talk about bus?❌". This is in reference to the shenanigans at the 2010 World Cup, in which the striking French players refused to disembark the team bus for training.
Ranieri echoed his social media team at a press conference, and was clearly aggrieved by the criticism:
If you want to talk about buses, the bus I know best is Raymond Domenech’s!
The bus he did was very important. But the thing that is very serious is he made jokes about our Coach. It's incredible. A [former] France Coach making these jokes.
And ethics? If Domenech were to talk about theatre perhaps I would listen, but when talks about football? Never! Never!
Criticism is good for a Coach, because it helps you to improve. It depends who is doing the criticising though.
If you [the media] asked me about parking the bus, I'd laugh and say I'd park two buses.
I’ve never seen a journalist tell another journalist that he’s no good. Maybe between yourselves, but never publicly. Never. It’s very serious.
Domenech, Domenech... it's incredible.
