Chelsea and England legend Ray Wilkins has passed away at the age of 61. Wilkins was admitted to hospital on Saturday having suffered a heart attack at home. His wife confirmed to the Daily Mirror that he had been injured in a resulting fall, and was placed in an induced coma in hospital.
It has been confirmed this afternoon that Wilkins has passed away.
Wilkins won 84 caps with England and played more than 200 times for Chelsea. Wilkins also played with Manchester United, AC Milan, Rangers and a host of other clubs. He also coached at Chelsea, QPR and Aston Villa.
Chelsea paid their respects this afternoon.
