Rangers' snakes and ladders style demotion and subsequent rise through the league system has been almost as entertaining as, quite frankly, anything you see on the pitch in Scottish football nowadays. The Glasgow club have reassumed their place at the top table and, armed with signings like Joey (or Joseph) Barton, are set to challenge city rivals Celtic at the summit of the division.
Not bad for a club that's only four years old.
Hang on, what?
Rangers fans are apparently upset at Siri, the discombobulated voice inside Apple's iPhone, who has taken a very unromantic look at the club's recent history. If you ask Siri when Rangers were founded, instead of 1872 (when Glasgow Rangers were set up), it will tell you that Rangers FC was set up in 2012 after the liquidation of Glasgow Rangers for financial irregularities.
Ask most fans, however, and they will tell you that the new Rangers FC is a continuation of the old club despite Siri's black and white stance on the matter.
As is the case in most things in this day and age, Twitter is the battleground where Rangers fans are venting their ire and Celtic fans are basking in the glory of the moment.
