As soon as night follows day, you can be sure that a period of poor results for Manchester United will result in a protest of some sort against the club's ownership.
With results on the pitch leaving quite a bit to be desired this season, a group of supporters have opted to protest against the Glazer family. A group brandishing 'Glazer out' signs would show up at the club's training ground earlier today, with police being arriving to disperse the dozen or so protesters from the front gates of the Carrington Training Complex just after midday.

A fan group known as ‘The 1958’ are also planning a protest prior to tomorrow's Premier League fixture against Norwich City, where there is likely to be a larger contingent of discontented supporters.
Speaking ahead of that game, Ralf Rangnick admitted that he can understand why the supporters are unhappy at the moment.
We all know that football is a game of passion and emotions.
I think we can all understand, and I can understand, that our supporters are disappointed, both about where we stand in the table but also about performances.
But I still believe that our supporters are one of the best, if not the best, in England, and as long as they do that protest in a peaceful way and as long as they still support the team in the stadium, I think they have the right to express their opinion.
As I said, emotionally, I can understand why they are disappointed.
While other supporters would point out that the Manchester United owners have spent a large amount of money on transfers in recent seasons, these protests are not related to that matter. They believe that the Glazers should stop taking money out of the club in the form of dividends, also putting more investment into improving facilities such as the stadium and training ground.
As for matters on the pitch, Rangnick will be hoping for a win this weekend to keep United's slim hopes of a top four finish alive.
