Last week, Liverpool rejected a £30 million bid from Man City for want-away attacker Raheem Sterling. When youn consider that the figure of £50 million has been doing the rounds, it's no surprise that the powers that be at Anfield rejected the offer.
Similarly unsurprising is that City have now returned with an increased offer of up to £40 million for the England international.
Man City have increased their offer for Raheem Sterling to £35m plus £5m in add ons.

The early indication is that Liverpool will once again turn down the bid. However, it seems certain that the 20 year old will be leaving Anfield with the offer creeping towards the the club's reported valuation.
