AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has seemingly let the cat out of the bag before it was ready by announcing a transfer to Real Madrid via Twitter before quickly deleting the offending tweet.

The Colombian has been linked with the Spanish giants all summer but that talk had cooled when a reported €20 million loan fee was requested by Monaco. However, barring a rather uninventive hacker, it looks like Falcao's dream move has become a reality, something which is sure to be lamented by quite a few fans of his former club Atletico Madrid.

If we do get some non-twitter related confirmation then the transfer is sure to strike fear into Madrid's rivals, with the Bernabeu club already adding James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos to their bulging squad this summer.
