There's been some great investigative work by head of intelligence at the 21st Club Omar Chaudhuri into the varying transfer records for players of a certain age.
The research details the most expensive player by age, running from 16 all the way up to 34, and a few of the names on the list will surprise you.
11/19 is a pretty good score here, as ten of the players on the list have transferred in the past two seasons.
