Ah, the magic of the Cup!
These days, the FA Cup 3rd Round is seen by many as a welcome break from football after the excesses of the Christmas period. Once upon a time though, it was a hallowed weekend, a time full of possibilities and excitement. We had some football on television for a start. Remember when that was a rarity? Besides that, there was still some romance in the game, and the thought of the triers from the lower leagues picking up a big scalp still meant something to us.
There have been some amazing 3rd round results over the years, but how well do you remember these occasions?
