It was downright bizarre at the time, but Great Britain's football team at the 2012 London Olympics looks even stranger seven years on.
The four home nations reached a compromise that would allow Team GB to have a football team in their home Olympics on a one off basis, although there was plenty of hiccups along the way. Ultimately it was all for nought, with Britain exiting at the quarter final stage at the hands of Canada.
