We've got a quiz today to seriously test your knowledge of Irish international football.
In our history, Ireland has qualified for six major tournaments, all in the last 32 years. Three trips to the European Championships in 1988, 2012, and 2016, and three World Cups in 1990, 1994 and 2002 have created memories that will last a lifetime, but how well do you remember it all?
20 men were named in Jack Charlton's Euro 88 squad. That went to 22 for 1990 and 1994, while it's been 23 in the squads of McCarthy, Trapattoni and O'Neill in the tournaments since. That all adds up to a daunting 133 players. But don't worry, it's not as hard as all that. There are A LOT of players who've made it to two tournaments, and even a few that have been to three.
You've got a generous 12 minutes too. But there's always one or two we forget about from these squads.
We'll be very impressed with anyone who gets full marks here.
Best of luck and let us know how you get on.
