This week, the Football Writers Association bestowed their Player of the Year honour on Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson.
The gong is one of the major end of year individual awards that can be bestowed on a footballer plying their trade in England. Henderson's emotive acceptance of the award got us thinking about all the other footballers that have won the award in the past. For the purposes of constriction, we've stuck with just the Premier League era, not because football began in 1992, but because if we went back to the origins of the award, we'll be here all day.
There are 28 names to get. Your hints are the year the player won the award and the club they were playing for. There's five minutes on the clock, so plenty of time to mull over your mid-90s knowledge.
