In 1979/80, Liverpool won the league. Fast forward 40 years and... nevermind actually.
An awful lot has changed in English football in that time though. The Premier League came along in 1992 and so did glitzy television coverage, a foreign player revolution, all seater stadiums, and nice football pitches.
Through it all though, teams get relegated and teams get promoted. All in all, 54 teams have played in the English top flight since 1980. Some have been there the entire time. Others have made just one appearance.
We want to know how many you can remember. We've given you 12 minutes for this one and expect most of you to come up just short. If you've getting to the 50 mark, it's a very impressive performance.
