Not to be outdone by their German sportswear rivals, Puma have released a whole heap of international team jerseys as the run-in to the 2018 World Cup truly geathers momentum.

Adidas unveiled 12 retro-style shirts for their international teams recently, and Puma have followed a similar pattern as there is a clear theme across 8 of the jerseys which have emerged thanks to FootyHeadlines.com.

A few of them just don't work at all, for example we'd be a bit upset if we were Switzerland fans, however Uruguay's inability to have an ugly jersey once again is on show as theirs is a beauty.

Austria is excellent, Italy's is decent, and Ivory Coast is just mad enough to work, but we can't say we're massive fans of the Cameroon effort.

The early signs are that Adidas are going to have the best World Cup out of the major brands, although we are yet to see what Nike have up their sleeves.
