There were five players sent off in the closing minutes of Marseille's 1-0 victory over PSG at the Parc de Princes on Sunday evening.
Neymar was the final one shown a red card by referee Jerome Brisard following a melee involving players from both sides. The Brazilian was issued with the card after being spotting punching Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez on the back of the head.
Walking off the pitch, Neymar told the fourth official that he had heard a racist slur. He later tweeted that "My only regret is not hitting that asshole in the face" and made accusations regarding what he claims Alvaro said.
The Spaniard subsequently tweeted in response saying: "There is no place for racism. A clean career and with many team-mates and friends on a day to day basis. Sometimes you have to learn how to lose and accept it on the field."
Prior to Neymar being dismissed, PSG's Leandro Paredes and Layvin Kurzawa along with Marseille's Jordan Amavi and Dario Benedetto were also red carded.
Florian Thauvin scored in the only goal of the game in the 31st minute.
