Gregory Van Der Wiel's job as PSG right-back just got a hell of a lot more secure after Ivory Coast international Serge Aurier made a bafflingly stupid decision on Saturday night.
The young defender decided it would be a good idea to chat with his fans via Periscope, and presumably thought it would be ok to use a homophobic slur to discuss his manager, who he feels greatly favours Zlatan Ibrahimovic (to put it nicely).
BT Sport's French football correspondent relayed the news from France earlier today on twitter, and understandably a lot of people are now very angry with Aurier:
Serge Aurier has been left out of the PSG first team squad until further notice. He was asked by the club not to come to training today.

Serge Aurier insulted Laurent Blanc last night in a Periscope vidéo, calling him "a faggot". Also said Blanc s*cks Ibra & "takes everything"

There's stupidity, and then there's this.
According to Bleacher Report Aurier also slagged his teammates Salvatore Sirigu (calling him finished) and his rival for the right-back spot Van Der Wiel (call him shite, which is wonderfully ironic), and even attempted to deny that he made the claims, despite there being recorded video evidence of the incident.
