Republic of Ireland underage centre-half Conor Masterson is set to be included in Liverpool's matchday squad for tonight's FA Cup tie against Exeter City.
Liverpool bought Masterson from Lucan United in the summer of 2012 when he was just 13. He signed a £1m contract. The club spotted him playing in the Kennedy Cup competition. It was announced that he would join the club on his 16th biirthday which arrived in the summer of 2014.
He captained the Irish U17s during two European championship qualifiers against Scotland and Gibraltar. He is a past U16 Republic of Ireland player of the year.
Masterson is a versatile player who is capable of slotting in in a number of positions across the pitch.
