The president of French Ligue 2 side Le Harve was clearly an avid Pro Evolution Soccer player in the years between 2004 and 2007, because he has today revealed that the former Inter Milan striker could be set to join his club.
Adriano hasn't had an easy time since his Serie A days, as both mental health problems and weight issues have plagued him since his return to Brazil, but seemingly he is ready to return to European football.
Speaking to sambafoot.com, Le Harve president Christophe Maillol said:
Adriano will arrive within 15 days to discuss with us and visit the club. There is a real interest, I had his agent over several times, he confirmed Adriano’s coming. Adriano is seeking to launch himself again, he is free and Le Havre will give him some visibility in Europe. This is a project for six months, starting in January. We will do everything possible so that he can quickly play again.
Adriano has only played seven games since 2012, although he does look to be keeping better care of himself, having posted this picture to Instagram earlier in the year:

Surely every nostalgic PES player wants to see Adriano back in football.
